Using the Image Editor

Image Editor allows for making simple changes to your images - crop, rotate, flip. You could change either images in your image gallery, or images in your Text and Images content.

 

To start the Image editor:

  • In Text and Images:select your image and click over the Image Editor  link you'll see in the image options on the right.

  • in Gallery:rollover the edit icon of any gallery image . Choose Image Editor  from the drop-down menu.

 

Options available in Image Editor:

  • Crop some part of the image.After your image was loaded in Image Editor, select an area you wish to crop(keep the mouse left button pressed and drag the pointer until you've outlined the crop area). Click Crop icon  .

  • Rotate an image. Click Rotate icon . Choose degrees for rotation.

  • Flip an image (vertically or horizontally).Click Flip Vertical option to turn your image upside down.Click Flip Horizontal icon to make a mirror of the image.

  • Save option will saveyour work by far so you could roll back to it later. Thus during image update you could always cancel the changes you've made since last saveby clicking Revert icon .

  • Zoom in  / zoom out  your image, or go back to its original size  .

 

When you've finished changing your image, Save andthen Exit . The image in Text and Images or Gallery will get automatically updated with the changes applied.
