How do I add a page without listing it in the Navigation Menu?

  • Roll over the Control Panel  icon available in the top right corner of your site in Admin view.
  • Select "New Page"
  • Fill in the page title and de-select the "Add to Nav Menu" checkbox

The newly added page will not be listed in the navigation. You can link to it from other pages on your site.

How can I change the Home page of my website?

You can set any of the pages on your site as Home Page - the initial page which opens when you type in the URL for your site.

  • Rollover the Control panel   icon available in the Admin view of your website.
  • Select "Manage Pages"
  • In the "Action" column click the Home icon  of the page you wish to set as your Home page.

When do changes in the menu get published?

Since the menu is an object that is common for all pages - changes in it appear in the Normal view after you publish any of the pages.

The navigation menu appears with a different style on one of the pages of my site.

Check if you are using a different encoding for this particular page.

Open "Page Properties" from the Control Panel  icon in the top right corner of Admin view. The encoding is displayed in the "Advanced Settings" section.

My navigation menu is missing in Normal view although it is visible in Admin view.

Please check if your Navigation Menu is not placed on hold. Items placed on hold are not visible in Normal View even after publishing the page. Their icon is marked with a red corner . To restore the menu to Normal view, roll over the Navigation   icon and select  "Unhold". Then publish the page. Your menu should now be available in Normal view already as well.

My site can't load in full. The navigation items don't appear.

The navigation in many of the designs is rendered with JavaScript. If the JavaScript is disabled for your browser, or the Security settings are increased to High the menu won't appear.

If you are using Internet Explorer please follow these steps:

1. From the "Tools" menu on top of your browser window select "Internet options"
2. Open the "Security" tab.
3. If you have selected Custom Level, click on the "Custom Level" button. In the properties popup make sure that the option for "Active Scripting" is enabled. If your are using Default Level and it is set to High, try switching it to Medium.

If you are using FireFox:
1. From the "Tools" menu on top of your browser window select "Options"
2. Open "Web Features" tab
3. If the "Enable JavaScript" option is not checked, select it and press "OK".
